May have chosen my next scope to mount on my edge. I have high hopes for the sightron S3 6-24x50 LRMD scope. Have certainly read alot of very good reviews.

So now I just have to find one. They seem to be pretty popular and sold out at alot of places. Anyone know of somewhere with a good price and instock?

I'll look myself as well of course but thought I would ask.

Thanks,

BT

I have been looking for the same scope, everywhere I look the MD version is out of stock.
Arcadian Sales had it listed on their website as expected in store date as July 1 2009, well now it says Oct 1, so i decided i would just try the fine cross hair with dot reticle version. I figure if i really dont like it that much i can always have a different reticle put in. Who knows maybe i will like it better than mildot less clutter anyway.

I looked at the same sight and saw the same thing. Man waiting till OCT is just too long as elk season starts for me at the end of that month.

I saw on Midway the same scope was listed as discontinued, maybe sightron is coming out with a new rectical for their scope.

I know getting a new rectical is possible for these scopes as I have seen comments on at least one person that is backed by sightron.

I figure I am going to start calling all the dealers listed see if I find anything.

Good luck,

BT

Well it seems there is not a single scope like this available anywhere. I had severial dealers check for me so now must wait for them to come from Sightron, like 6-8 weeks. Anyone out there have one still new in box or hardly used they want to get rid of?

My recent experience is the same as yours. I have a relative - gun shop owner trying to obtain one for me and none of his suppliers have been able to provide one for at least the past month. I already own one and am trying to obtain another.

Now the question is, are the scopes unavailable because of unusually high demand, or is there a kink in Sightron's production line?
