Due to my job, it was required that I reside in Massachusetts for the last few decades. I make the best of it when hunting locally, mostly the other extreme of LRH(Flintlock/, Bow deer, shotgun-birds). I have been fortunate to be able to hunt out West and Canada every year since locating here.

Unfortunately, I'm from one of the sickening blue states in the east, NJ. Currently looking at property in eastern TN maybe around Knoxville. Looking for at least 50 acres moderately close to civilization where I can sit on my back deck and shoot (respecting time of day/neighbors, etc.) and make my property enticing to turkeys and deer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone on this forum, it's great to be in a place where there is actually good advice and lot's of great knowledge and experienci

Hello. I live 60 miles east of Knoxville. What type of property are you looking for? I have a friend that has 48 acres going on the market. It is off highway W11 around 6 miles west of Rogersville

Your new property will be more enticing to Deer and turkeys....if you don't shoot often off your back deck.....lol....(you said you were looking for advice)
