What's Your Favorite Spam Use?

Years ago on a pronghorn hunt way out in the desert we ran out of food in 100deg weather no shade in our too small cooler, and the nearest gas station store only had a few dusty old cans of spam and a few bags of potato chips maybe. They would grill you a cheesburger though, but that got us both sick.
We bought the last of their spam and ate it for dinner one night and Ive never bought it since. The grilled rattlesnake we shot out there tasted better and held us over till we shot an antelope.

Many a thin slice of Spiced Pork American Meat Ration has sizzled into bacon like bliss in the skillet section of a USGI stainless mess kit. Not to mention that as I age SPAM has introduced lower sodium offerings. Nowadays the 0 Dark thirty breakfast crowd in my kitchen seems to be nothing more than the cook. So the size of the cast iron skillet has shrunk drastically. A full strip of bacon needs to be sliced in half to fit. The thinner the slice of SPAM the crispier the bacon. Not to mention it takes up less refrigerator space in a Tupperware container. Afield, it's easier to tote than butter, lard, or bacon to provide needed cooking element. Bon Appetit. Don't knock it till you fry it! 😁

After being in the Marines eating "C" Rats out of Carboard Boxes and cutting the cans open with a P-38----A Can of SPAM was like a Filet Mignon. Our boxes were marked "1943" and we were eating in the early 1970s! Yep in the Marines we always got everything leftover from other Branches of Services.
BUTTT I still LIKE SPAM. Fry it up in slices till it browns and have with over easy eggs and Rye Bread Toast and some Hash Browns.

I always have a few cans of SPAM in the Pantry.

Here in Florida every June is Hurricane Season. SPAM and cans of Condensed Milk are almost requirements. I can live without another cartoon of parmalet but Alvin's on the beach Waianea side has closed. ☹️

Box lunch on the beach but days of going to Oahu are over.
It's been a long time since I slept on the beach with the spirit of ohana and my brothers. Yet waking to eat at Alvin's when a rouge wave tickled me into consciousness. Like the American Express Commercial, PRICELESS. Yet Alvin's had SPAM on the menu. Wonder when Y'all last saw that?
