Actually, with a little bit of ingenuity, a sized case, a bullet and a Dremel tool. I think you could probably make one of these yourself.

The Sinclair gauges work. Or you can stop trimming until you jam a case. Or use a borescope to see the actual end clearance on the case. There are multiple ways to see what the case is doing in your actual chamber. There are several threads on here about how to do it.

Shoot it. You won't see any difference for the most part.

heck, even if i screw up and the brass ends up say like 10-15 thousandth short, i'll set it/them aside and shoot them separately
