I am rolling the Lapua brass I have in a 292 in my redding right now. I also have a 291 and a 293 because I ran into some issues sizing some Remington brass and I also have multiple 6.5 or .264 caliber rifles.
I did not find a noticeable difference in group size when changing sizes other than one time I had no bullet grip at all with a 293 and rem brass from memory. To quantify I do not shoot 1,000 yards 400 is my longest shot.
You need to do some experimentation different bullet/brass combinations will require a different size. A 292 will usually resize to .293 outside dimension with a little bounce back and a margin of error with my calipers. Factory brass usually comes to our door at .288 or .289. So there are plenty of sizes that will get you to the range.
