Yup, recoil 'impulse' is a thing... It's not just the ft-lbs!
How about a 300 rum with 105 gr. Imr 7828, 168 gr. Accubond, I don't remember mv. I could probably look it up. Rem. 700 sendero, 26 bbl. No break, weighs about 8 1/2 lbs with scope and mountsMy worst is a very light no brake 28 right at 50 ft lbs of recoil according to the calculators, and it's nasty, fast and violent. I've shot heavier recoil by the number in bigger bores and heavier bullets, they weren't as fast and violent so they seemed more tolerable. Just ran my RUM on the calculator and it's right at 50 also, but it isn't nearly as violent as the 28. It is not pleasant at all but it isn't intolerable.
Where do I find the recoil calculator? Did I miss something?
I apologize if it was already posted but I am NOT going back over all 25 pages to find it.
You also need the mv to calculate the numbers! memtbHow about a 300 rum with 105 gr. Imr 7828, 168 gr. Accubond, I don't remember mv. I could probably look it up. Rem. 700 sendero, 26 bbl. No break, weighs about 8 1/2 lbs with scope and mounts
This was a 1992 Ford F250! No aluminum, even had the old cast iron 460 in it. That gun was rowdy as hell off a bench!Note to self…….self, do not use aluminum for my next shooting bench! memtb
I posted that same on on FBOfficial high jack. Since y'all brought up. View attachment 451771
I drive a ford. Very happy with it. But I still thought that was funny.
Just like the scam emails I get, the author of that meme suffers from poor spelling and grammEr!But do you 'dive' one, that is the question?
Hahaha, deadly meme.
Honestly I didn't even catch the missing 'r', but my wife did.
I was cackling away, and she was like
"That doesn't make any sense"
...She had to read it back to me before I clued in
