What is the cause of this and how do I fix it - feeding issue

The bullet kicks out from the bottom metal before i can try to cycle it in
Don't understand why a GS would hand over anew rifle without cycling several rounds from the magazine. The Kaugers are made with feed rails to work with internal box, hinged floor plate, or DBM. Either wrong follower for cartridge or spring tension is way off. Tuning a rifle to feed from an internal box is the hardest part of rifle build, to me. I think a lot of people use DBM to not have to deal with this.

See post 11 here. Saw this last week. Just a fyi

I actually saw that, but only his initial post. But, DANG!

Take it back to your GS and stay with it until everything is working properly. It's probably not a big problem and can be fixed pretty quickly
I talked to him and it's resolved. I told him the issue and sent the video. A new feeder plate is on the way. I'm trying to handle it at home since he is at a different state. It's no big deal. He wants to fix it and that's all that matters

What cartridge, out of curiosity?

Keep us posted please as I'm interested in what you end up doing and if it works. If you don't mind, would also be interested in the video your GS shared with you.
