What is a simple ballistic calculator I can use?

I need something basic that I just need to put in speed, bc, bullet weight, etc, that will get me within a click or 2 at 500 yards. Thanks

BallisticsARC is as simple as it gets and works out to a 1000 meters( just remember dumb in dumb out ) put in good information and they will work to your advantage every time

You did not mention iPhone/ android or home computer. JBM is really great and free on your computer, I run Ballistic AE, Shooter, Strelok, and Nikon on my phone - I like Ballistic AE best

I like how I can have all my guns setup in one app, and switching between them requires only 3 short taps with my finger!
Every gun, with every ammo/load I use, and in different configurations (with silencer, without, etc.), it's all in there.
Calculations are spot on.

And I like how the developer keeps adding functions (he just added BC calculations from two velocities) and how he adds new reticles almost weekly. Amazing.

And I can use 1 BC, or 5 BCs for different velocities (there are some huge changes when getting into transonic velocities). Or I can add my very own CDM (custom drag model)!

Strelok is a decent one.
JBM Calculations is pretty good too. I use it for my range cards I tape to my scopes for a hunt. Great out to 700-800. I always verify and compare with Shooter too.
I have Strelok Pro and Shooter. Shooter is my go-to. It is like $10 or something. Worth every penny.

Jungle- I'm glad you revived this thread. I am using Strelok for my Surgeon Scalpel, 7 WSM. I am getting less drop at distance with my Berger VLD-H's than the program is telling me. Is there a way on the 'Pro' version to make the corrections for that bullet without having to carry a DOPE log?

Just adjust the fps or BC to match what you're actually seeing.

If you haven't entered in muzzle velocity at various ambient Temps accurately, do that first.

How far away is "at distance"? The range that you're starting to see differences can indicate what needs to be changed. Strelok pro also has built in calculators for trueing both muzzle velocity and BC at range.

The pro version is well worth the few dollars they charge for it. I'd honestly happily pay $50 for all the functionality and developer support it has

I use (if they have 1) the bullet manufacturers calcs and have worked for me so far. They should know about their own more than anothers? Most of the time I use my brain and it has worked well. I do 2 shots at 2 different ranges at least (depending on cartridge) 200-300 yards apart. Most are within 800 yards max and bullets are still supersonic and altitude is within 200 feet. Angle is minimal.
