Let's see, I think it means McCain lost. I think it means the Republicans lost control of their agenda over the past 8 years, and therefore their support in this election. I think it means if the Republicans don't get a face lift, they'll lose again 4 years from now.

The best way to give another win to the Dems in four years - run Sarah again - guaranteed loss. She's a hockey mom on the one hand. Yet she's qualified for the White House on the other? You don't see the dichotomy in that sales pitch? Couldn't sell it this time. Won't sell it next.

You guys over it yet? You ready to get on with your lives? Or are you planning to live in misery and console on another for at least the next four years.

The system worked exactly like it's supposed to. You just didn't get the result you desired. So now what. Throw temper tantrums and claim life's unfair? Get over it.

I really dont think this kind of talk is constructive. I think you have gone over the top. No matter how people really feel about the election this kind of rant over and over will lead to hard feelings that will no doubt spill into other posts. I made my last post when I thought the faning of the flames was getting mean spirited. I am not opposed to a good discussion on both sides of the fence and I speak up when I agree and disagree. I just believe when the faning gets mean spirited it will spill over in future posts and create ill will for a long time to come and that is not good for anyone.

When it comes to Obama, I was NOT for electing him or the liberal Congress that we now have, but it is important to point out that I do want them to succeed in many, many areas!

I won't act like the Dems.
All the talk for the last year from Congress, badmouthing our troops, talking down the economy. It is one thing to be against Bush, but Murtha, Pelosi, Kerry are scum in my book.
Calling our Marines murderers without a hearing, Rooting for a bad economy, and hoping for the Surge to not work IS anti-American!

Keep America strong, don't mess too much with the economy as it will probably come back sooner than later, SHRINK the Federal Government, and don't nominate any S.C. justices, and they will have support from me.

administration has consistently emphasized its support for "sportsman"
and hunters and that is how it allayed the fears of many Gun owners early on. The problem with this is the Second Amendment was never about Hunting or sporting purposes in the first place. It is about the right of US citizens to be armed!! What this administration want to do is to is to institute something like what they have in Europe. I have been stationed here in Germany for many years now and the gun laws here are so draconian they would make the likes of sarah brady and crew green with envy. All of their laws pertaining to firearms are for so called sporting purposes. The only way to get a firearm is to go through their version of a hunters safety course (which costs them about 3000 Euros). And the only type of weapons that they are allowed to have are ones that have a legit sporting uses. Which means semi autos are out of the question. I am told that the gun laws in other parts of Europe are even worse. Things like the .50 BMG are almost impossible to acquire.

12. It is also their intent to restructure the Republican/Conservative party as we know it. The pity of this is that the GOP is falling for this hook, line and sinker and they dont even know it. Case in point, running Senator John McCain, a moderate. If you take a look at the so called "right" in Europe it is not even what we in the US would call right it is in reality just less left. Take a look at Chancellor Shroeder vs Chancellor Merkel. Or Chirac vs Sarkozy. And if you take a look at the rest of the world we are really the only country with a true conservative/right wing party. Number 10 re enforces this. As it stands right now about 70 percent of the media is leftist.

13. Surrendering our sovereignty bit by bit to the UN. This will also occur during this administration. it will start with us signing on to the UN world court. I dont know how far they are going to go with this one but if number 12 happens then the sky is the limit.

14. They are also talking about re doing the bill of rights. This was talked about during FDR it thankfully never happened. I have not seen much on this but with a leftist advantage in the House, Senate, and White house their is little to stop it.

Yes, at the risk of being called a conspiracy theorist, I think we are seeing the final stage of what President Reagan called creeping socialism.
