TrueLast I checked - dead is dead.
E = MC(2)
M is Mass, C is Velocity (which is squared).
So, if we double Mass we double Energy.
If we double C, Velocity, we QUADRUPLE Energy as Velocity is squared.
Velocity of course dwindles over time/distance which of course Mass does not.
None of which takes any consideration of factors such as Sectional Density, Frontal Area, bullet composition and construction, etc...which transfer energy to the target.
Now, break out the pitchforks and torches! Let the carnage begin!

Have shot a few on bagging area of wheat paddock. All went down with good shot placement from 222Rem Magnum. Bullets 52gn J4 Jackets, didn't lose any meat. Shot others with 243 Winchester but some loss of useable meat.Haven't seen hogs since January…
Guess they're back!
Now to decide if I wanna smack 'em with Power or Speed?

Karamojo Bell didn't list the ones that were wounded and escaped! But, he did lay down a ton of Ele with his 6.5x55. O'Connor used a 270 for almost everything and nobody gives that round much thought anymore.Hundreds of elephants died with a 160 gr 6.5 at 2500
Accuracy trumps all
