Would the weatherby Vanguard s2 in 7mm make a good long range rifle out to 600 to 700 yards?? It is a sub-moa so is very accurate. Thanks Dave

For the price it's one heck of a rifle. I'm waiting until they are a bit more plentiful and I'll probably have one to add to the collection. The stainless ones seem to be selling for a street price less than the previous version, so that's great.
The new stock is much nicer than the previous synthetic, and the trigger is also far better. However, both can easily be swapped out to better ones along the way. If you want an inexpensive way to get into shooting I think they're a great rifle.
