I do. I converted two of them about 5 years back. Gamechanger! It's the best western hunting rig I own. I rarely shoot my 300 mag anymore. 165s and 170s with BC above .650s are not only flat wind defying missiles, they hit hard and penetrate like a hot knife through butter. Like I said I'm tempted!!!

@hawg chaser I was talking to a buddy who said he was between 2900-3000 with the 170 ballistic tips in his using rl22 (I think that was the powder)

I get 3030 fps avg with Retumbo out of one of my 270 WSM w/24.5" barrel. 170 Berger EOL. And 2844 fps from my 270 win with Rldr 26. 165 ABLR. This is a 23" barrel. I can go faster with both but accuracy starts to open up. These are both .50-.60 moa out to 800 yds. I've shot my wsm to 1300 yds and hit basketball size rocks just for fun.

Went out and shot it yesterday, 15 shots with some RL26 and 170gr BTs. Avg velocity with 59gr was 2940, 5 shots.

This group was 58.5gr, 5 shots
