What ffp do you have?
Meopta is nice but I can't find an MOA one in stock outside of the zplex.i have the scope I the video. I think the video needs some narration. Where was the target? 25 yds, 50, 100?
what was the scope zoomed to? At 15x-25x, mine is quite visible. At 5x, I'm centering between the big posts.
remember. At 25 - 100 yds, you can be a ways off and kill an animal. I'm not sure I need a reticle there. At 100-300, the reticle is quite useful at 10x. At 300+, I may use the reticle and will have it on 15-25x to see it well.
also, the deer are non reflective for the most part.
look at the Meopta R1 MRAD reticle. Wow! That donut would even show in this video! and the illuminated plus sign if you were closer to dusk!
How has the viper gen2 held up for you? Tracks well and holds zero?i have the scope I the video. I think the video needs some narration. Where was the target? 25 yds, 50, 100?

So if you watch the video on ffp vortex viper gen ii reticle you can't even see the reticle when zoomed out at 100 yards. Even with the reticle light illuminated it was hard to see. This is the first time I've witnessed a ffp reticle. Is that really how it is? If so I think I'll stick with sfp for my type hunting. The link below is the video I'm talking about.

I will throw in my two cents to your questions...both are now three years old...one on my 338 Lapua and one on my 50 bmg....both are working extremely well on high recoil rifles... return to zero perfectly! How has the viper gen2 held up for you? Tracks well and holds zero?
It's what I'm used to and how I like to dial. They don't make and MOA one with that reticle, but why MOA?
Well, I'd like to argue that, but that makes a lot of sense to stick with what you know! It's what I'm used to and how I like to dial.
