Colorado is over the counter and staring to have a ton of black bears around. So many you can have two licences each year, a list A and a list B

I haven't not. last year was the first year they offered the list B. Those GMU are south and west of me around Rifle and Aspen areas

I would say Oregon is a very good area also...but I know that the coast is chalked full...can't remember tags...lots of guides hunting lots of timbers areas....some cross valley shooting...sometimes off your backside too.....

I would definitely go to Washington or Canada over Colorado. Washington is over the counter and you can get 2 tags

If your up to a guide-places in Canada where you'll see 7-8 bears a day just driving roads, up to as difficult as you like.

Ok so Washington and Colorado have be recamended. I was under the inpresion that Idaho mule deer tags can be used for black bear if it is the right season?

Plenty of spot and stalk black bear in BC.

I agree I hunted with Coastal Mountain Outfitters and there were many spot and stalk long range opportunities.
