If you want to take the VX3 to the next level, get a custom CDS turret. You need to provide a little information regarding the caliber, load and hunting conditions. I have a 4.5x14 mounted on a Remington Model 7 in 243. I use the gun primarily for coyote hunting. My longest kill shot with the 58 grain Hornady V-max is 545 yards. It sure makes hunting coyotes a lot more fun when you can knock 'em down when they hang up out there.
