VX-5HD Opinions?

Looking at the 3x15x44mm. My concern is tracking. Does anyone have a hands-on experience with this scope?

My brother has one. Tracks perfectly. Very clear. I don't like the windage dial but that's just me.

Probably one of the best hunting scopes for the price, loaded with great features such as zero stop with lock. It is on the light side as well. Haven't heard any problems with tracking, just very you actual drops.

I have the 6 and it tracks perfectly. My favorite hunting scope.

It's also my favorite hunting scope.
Went from 525 to 950 and back to 525 all first round hits.
The only negative for me is the turret clicks feel very mushy.

I have 4 or 5. No issues and I run the **** out of the turrets.

I don't mind the mushy turrets as long as it returns back to zero. Additionally one more question with that cdlz system once it locks how many revolutions can you go up before it stops and how many MOA is that or Mills

I have 4. 3 have worked flawlessly, one had a dial that didn't index properly with the turret. I sent it back and Leupold fixed it and works great.

I belong to a long range gun club and I dial the VX5HDs year round. I haven't had any problems.

Today's Leupolds are definitely not what they were 10 years ago.

That is what I have heard. Hence the post. If anyone knows another lightweight scope in the 16 to 20 oz range please let me know but it's got a track like an ace

Ive been dialing my Loopy Vx3, Vx5 and Vx6 for the past 3 years about 100 times a year. Flawless every time.

If I'm not mistaken, the ZL2 gives two revolutions. ZL gives one. I'd assume the ZL3 does 3, but I haven't handled the 4-20 or the 7-35.
