100%!Just because it has a low E.S doesnt mean it is a good load, especially at 100yds

Thanks for that, too much emphasis on numbers. Believe the target.Just because it has a low E.S doesnt mean it is a good load, especially at 100yds
Maybe try one variable at a time. This load was 61 gr of H1000 and 140 Berger's and Fed 310 primers. I think I will go to CCI BR primer and drop the load .5 gr. Am I on the right path?
Adjust ur powder, leave the primer for now imoThis load was 61 gr of H1000 and 140 Berger's and Fed 310 primers. I think I will go to CCI BR primer and drop the load .5 gr. Am I on the right path?
In that case I'll try changing the primers. I've had this happen once before (not as bad) and changing the primers helped.Maybe try one variable at a time.
Would you go up or down in powder charge? No signs of pressure at the 61 gr of h1000Adjust ur powder, leave the primer for now imo
Just went back through thread. 61gr of h1000 in a prc and a f210 primer. I'd switch to a f215 primer then retest followed by adjusting powder charge to shrink group sizeWo

5155!!! Rifle blow up?Thanks for that, too much emphasis on numbers. Believe the target.
3 yrs ago or so, I had a 6 creed, dynamite load with a hybrid at 3105fps. Load was not hot, decided to see what it do going up in charge. Don't recall the charge, but my numbers for 5 rds were:
3155
3155
3155
3156
5155
It shot a solid 12" group @ 500 yards
Haha, it seemed like a lot of vertical at 100 yds. I was just politely suggesting shooting another group and focusing on good fundamentals. Others have had probably better suggestions since my post. So I won't plug up the OPs thread, but I did chuckle a bit when I saw this. Also in between heartbeats???
