Vermont Will Issue 100 Moose Tags This Fall to Reduce Tick Problems

Now that right there is so funny and frustrating at the same time. Intrigued as to how killing an extra 70 moose will reduce ticks in what a year, 10 years? Moose are such a propagator of ticks they need more reduction than 2-3 other animals?

Maybe they should just release some wolves since from what I heard they are doing a number on the moose in Wyoming. In all seriousness, time will tell us how this works out but seems a bit excessive to me.
