I was finishing up the venison roast my wife made the other day for lunch today. Scraping every succulent morsel from the bottom of the container, I bit into something hard.
Tada! Found the 70g Hammer Hunter I was looking for from my daughter buck last fall. Shot out of a .243 Win at 3600fps and very close (40 yards). She drilled the shoulder and it ran maybe 30 yards dead on its feet. We had lots of snow and there was no blood. I was a little surprised at no exit but it was a decent buck (170-180lb, crappy racks where I hunt) and a small projectile. Inside was mush. The Hammer performed as it was supposed to. Very happy with it.
