Velocity increase

For hunting guns hot bore precision(grouping) means little more than close(possibly) to needed MV for cold bore accuracy.
You might re-attain the best grouping MV -while cold, with powder, or neck tension. Depends on how you're sizing necks at this point.

But best cold bore MV will not likely match best hot bore MV because barrel density & elasticity changes with temps. That affects where the muzzle is pointed even if barrel time & muzzle velocity were restored to match.
So with cold bore, consider winter loads and summer loads as well.

Basically, testing and more testing, with a clear mind of meeting expectations ..
I've had very accurate guns that never grouped well, and at least one great grouping gun that was hopeless for cold bore accuracy. I have two guns now that are great for both. There is no reason why, it's just an abstract.
