Im looking forward to it!
And hearing which bullets are known to do it more than others regardless of caliber is useful info for sure.
Gday wilderness black tail
The one on these 6.5 tests that showed the most amount of tumble issues was the ATip hands down & if I was wanting a good frangible this is not it in my list @ all to me this ATip pill is total junk
The eld m is that frangible pill for me as that pill will open considerably better especially @ lower impacts & I'll give it a nod over the hp variety like Berger & Sierra hpmk & where this occurs & why for me is in the transition zone of a impact of the pill on the critter till it upsets to its terminal form
This here is a interesting part of terminal consistency & one that is not only with frangible as it's in every single style ( true solids excluded)
& let's just think on that a little bit deeper
If a pill opens & is to full terminal form before any major bone is impacted you have a pill that is more likely to work against a pill that in a hp case of getting a nose over & you see this in these hp varieties that have a longer transition zone or a wide transition zone of workings eg you see some pills that take a lot of distance to get to that good working terminal form of the pill
Now this we can help no doubt by cleaning up the hp & a must imo on these hp pills especially the small diameter hp or soft nose varieties
I also found a interesting thing on how to make these type of pills more consistent but not enough time to delve into that@ present but one that was very impressive on how it helped the Sierra hpmk not pencil & tumble compared to what it was renowned for imo
Anyway I'm getting the photos compiled & just found the video earlier this morning I was looking for on the ATip that shows how the real bad results occur now & then ( bingo raffle as I call it ) so I'll finish those screenshots of the videos & compile some pics to show what I've seen occur
Gotta run for now back asap
Cheers
