I sent a rifle by USPS to a FFL address in of all places California. I just received a rifle at my local gun shop FFL a few weeks ago. No problems of any kind. Az gun shops and gun owners so far haven't been under the far left liberal anti gun influences. They are probably waiting till their Antifa associates get theirs.

How far away are you from the Grovetown Evans area? When I lived in that part of GA I shipped a lot of firearms and ammo from the UPS hub with no issues.

I would do ups, do the label online and then take it to a ups customer center for drop off.

Follow the directions on ups site about how it can be shipped. Since it's a long gun you do not have to disclose that it is a firearm, do not take it to a ups store.

no chance in hell I would take it to USPS right now, then again I finally got a call back today about my tikka after 3 weeks with "yeah, it should show up eventually..."

With UPS, possibly fedex, you have to go to a hub to ship firearms ammo.

Not sure if that's a typo but nobody, including FFLs, can ship ammo via UPS or FedEx unless you have their ORM-D training and the training is around $500 if I recall correctly.

I was pointing out that it normally has to go through a hub not the individually owned stores is all but yes you are correct about the ORM-D stuff.

I would not ship anything USPS. I have had really bad luck lately with USPS. I had one rifle show up 25 days after it was to be delivered and another show up 23 days after the date it was to be delivered. Both were shipped priority 3 day with tracking and insurance, and when I called UPSP they had no idea where the package was, but miraculously when the ATF was called and a claim made on insurance they found them and got them to me ASAP.

The envelope with the money order torn and mangled was returned to me in a plastic bag by USPS. I am waiting on a non firearm package from Florida shipped Priority Mail Sept 18 and last seen by USPS Sept 25??????
