Unmodified Rem 700 Factory short action in an M5 stock/DBM or AICS mag, will it work?

Here's my question...
Will an UNMODIFIED Rem 700 short action work in a stock with a M5 DBM and/or an AICS mag?

I know Wyatt's and now Atlasworx (Elite) makes short action DBMs that fit into a BDL opening.

The Wyatt's short action DBM fits into a factory BDL opening and uses a proprietary mag, with a 2.880" COAL limit

The Atlasworx Elite DBM uses AICS mags with a 2.98" COAL limit...

I have used Wyatt's M4 DBM in a long action BDL stock and it works great.

But what about the Rem 700 short action in a M5 DBM with an AICS mag?

Will it work without machining the action to use the AICS mag?
