I've been loading for two 7mm-08's. One savage and the other a cva scout. The cva scout's fired brass will not fit the savage even after resizing. Does this tell me the cva's chamber is sloppy? bc it doesn't shoot worth a spit. While the savage shoots lights out for a factory rig or even a custom for that matter.

Mostly the problem is the cva is ruining all my brass.

I'd at least set aside brass for the cva, and only shoot brass that through your problem child. Keep your good brass for the rifle that shoots...

I did once I realized the problem. In fact I have to, b/c I can't close the savage bolt w/ the cva fired brass.

Thankfully my buddy has given up on the cva and ordered a savage.
