What tripod head are you shooting from and using that accepts Arca Rails?

I currently use a Manfrotto Pan Head 128RC and would like a similar setup to use for glassing, just utilizing Arca instead of Manfrotto's plate

I'd plan to shoot my new rifle off of it and and will have a BTX85 on it, recommendations are welcome

There are 100 ball head mounts to use on tripods. Most are pretty good.

The Benro VX25 has been a great head. Glassing with binos, spotter and to shoot from.

Unfortunately, I left my tripod and head in a hotel in West Texas and didn't realize it for a month.

I'm going to get the same head. Lightweight and easy to adjust/use.

Fiesol. The 3342 will handle a rifle well too. Been using one for 7 years

Thanks gents!! The more, the merrier!

Been using my current tripod setup for 10-11 years so when I switch it up, I wanna make sure it's gonna last me awhile.

Definitely going to use a pan head if possible

I wanted a dual mount that would accept Manfrotto plates and Arca rails. This system works GREAT. You could lose the dual setup and still add a single plate that accepts both Manfrotto and Arca rails if you want. That way, you can keep your head you have now, and still use both with the adapter. Minimal costs.

Leofoto tripods are really tuff to beat for the price in my opinion. I have a Two Vets tripod and the Leofoto is identical in quality. I heard that they actually make them for Two Vets. Check out Ebay for good prices. The model below is a 36mm main tube with 4 leg sections (364). If that's too heavy for you I like the 32mm as well (324).

Could you possibly post a link for that Neewer setup?

For shooting, hands down - RRS Anvil 30. Very solid and easy to use. Glassing with a ball head is a huge pain though.

While I glass with a pan head, I've never used it to shoot. While I wouldn't be concerned about stability, I think speed of adjustments would be my downfall (compared to the Anvil 30). I really only use the Anvil 30 for thermal hunting at night, so maybe the pan head wouldn't be a huge deal breaker when hunting big game with the tripod.
