Trimming tips?

Ok I am going to do some trimming.

Virgin adg 7saum brass - 2.031-2.032
3x fired adg brass - 2.052-2.060
Saami chart shows 2.0012

Thoughts on what my target length should be?

Did you mean 2.012?

Just looked again. I was looking at the wrong measurement. Saami is 2.035. So is 2.035 a good length to trim to?

Yes that is correct. The only other option is to use a chamber gauge from Sinclair and measure your own chamber length and trim .005-.010 shorter than your chamber. I tend to stay at the long side of things because it saves work and helps prevent the dreaded carbon ring.

My Weatherby mark five in 270 Weatherby Magnum. The book says case length 2.545, with the Sinclair gauge in a case closing the bolt, re-open an extract and measure. I got 2.581. Similar results in my Weatherby ultralight chambered in 270 Winchester. Books say case length 2.540, using the Sinclair gauge 2.5 72. Similar results in my Winchester model 70 super grade also in 270 Win. Using the gauge I get. 2.570. Based on these . Three rifles. My. Brass. Would. Really. Have to stretch a lot. For it to. Need. Trimming !

Does saami say case 2.035 or trim to....2.035....if it's case length then trim to 2.025...I always trim 10 thou below case length.

Made my own out of a case that was damaged. I measured 3 times and got 2.051" all 3 times. Assuming that chamber is 2.051" then my trimmed length should be 2.041"?

That's correct....this gives you 10 thous for your cases to expand before retriming and helps prevent bolt stick
Ok awesome! Let's see if I can get these things trimmed to the same length! No I know why I've been getting a sticky bolt. I was .010 over chamber length.

Used my new Frankford arsenal prep station and it was a HUGE success. That thing is so slick. Easy, fast and everything came in right on minute 1 case that shoulder bumped more than the rest, then ended up shorter than the rest. Being able to trim, chamfer, debur, clean pocket all at once sure was handy!

Sure do like mine....good on you! Now you're off to the races!
