Fingers crossed for the tag, that ram is a beauty.

Swakane ? Great picture, we are blessed to be able to drive a few miles to enjoy seeing sheep on a regular bases. ( 2022) 7095 apps. for 2 tags makes it tuff to get drawn for sure. I got drawn last year for the Manson unit with 23 pts. At 70 years old ,it was going to be my last year to put in. I scouted the unit hard all summer and saw very few sheep .WDFW estimates 80 head left. On the 10th day I shot the biggest ram I saw, a 5 1/2 year old ram with 15 1/2" bases. wolves are in the unit now .we heard them at sundown while we were capping and boning out the ram. WDFW told me they had two collard in the unit. Good luck , keep putting in and buy some raffle tags to increase your odds. Good luck.

Thanks Guy, your wildlife photography has been amazing me for quite some time now, I can remember some from years back of the Powder River area that were stunning, you've definitely still have the eye for it, not to mention the ability to get yourself in position to take such great photos.

Perhaps the biggest obstacle is obtaining the tag. This morning I got to within 100 yards of the ram, he was in a group of five. Washington State. What a wide set of horns!
