To bed or not to bed Anschutz sporter

I have an old 1969 Anschutz sporter, It shoots very good .170-.190 5 shots at 50 with midas plus , wondering if bedding could hurt the way it shoots. Lookin for opinion!

I'm a big fan of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it." Sounds like your gun is very happy just the way it is. I'd leave it be.

Thanks for the reply, been thinking about it for a long time . I dont think I can improve on it. Will let it be!

I would not touch it, leave well enough alone,in fact if it shoots like that I would never even clean the barrel it might change and take a lot of shooting to get it back.mine did, never again and its been 30 years now and is a tack driver still
