I love the .243 and if I could only have one cartridge it would be one of the top two on my list. If I were to rebarrel for the .243 I would do it in a 1-8 or so twist.

For predators the 243 or 243AI might be in your wheel house. The 6 creed is good I hear. You have all the brass to fireform or neck down everything you currently have.

257 Bob is underrated, with +P loading, it will be 150fps behind the 25-06. I have a 257AI, and it is a tack driver, true there is no truly high BC bullets, but the 110g Accubond, 115g Berger or 115g Ballistic Tip get it done…
