I had Tim build this for me and unfortunately a shop building project is taking priority. So sadly I decided this rifle needs to go.
No expense was spared building this rifle. It weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces including the NF 2.5-10 scope, which weighs 19 ounces. So without the scope this is very easily a sub 6 pound gun.
As expected, the details and finishes on this rifle are impeccable. Tim is known for his attention to details and his very high quality craftsmanship.
Build list is as follows:
- Pierce titanium short action with the optional titanium recoil lug and optional ultralight bolt and bolt handle
- Krieger #2 fluted 21" barrel, threaded 5/8-24 with a thread protector
- McMillan Hunters Edge stock
- Tally lightweights 30mm one-piece rings and bases
- Timney 510 narrow shoe trigger
- NF 2.5-10x32 Mil scope with zero stop
- 3 limited rotation QD sling mounts (can be used with a conventional sling or a Ching Sling)
- Ceracoated matte grey (not sure of the exact color name)
Just in parts alone this is a very expensive rifle, even before Tim works his magic.
Rifle is test fired only, never fielded otherwise.
