I didn't know Tikka offered a 22-250 with an 8 twist barrel.

Yeah, but Tikka doesn't offer everything in their inventory to the US market for some reason. I think , for example, that they have a CTR variant with an adjustable comb that's not offered in the US.

Here's mine in the T3X Lite Version. Mine is an 8" twist. I did verify with a cleaning rod and tape. It hammers with the 77 TMK. I haven't had a chance to try another projectile yet.

Sportsmans warehouse actually has the exact model I want except for the 8twist bbl. This is the roadblock I have come up against trying to find this. Emails to Tikka have gone unanswered for several weeks which makes me wonder if this company is someone I actually want to deal with if they can't answer a simple email!

Don't think you will need to get any material assistance after a purchase, although they never got back to me either about a replacement of a factory barrel vendor, neither did Beretta satisfactorily help with my search. Replacement parts are salty too, from Tikka anyway.

Does a 22-250 SV come with an 8 twist? I haven't ever seen one. Rechamber a .223 is one route.

Then I will need a different bolt face. I'm about ready to give up on tikka

I would reach out to Unknown Munitions. They have been ordering in a lot of Tikkas and just met with them at Shot Show

Personally, I'd just Buy, a 1-8 Twist, .22-250 rem, T-3 Lite, 24" SS, NON-Fluted barrel and MODIFY, the Cheek Riser with, a Custom Home Made one or, an Aftermarket, Cheek Riser. Throw an Ernie or, Elay Precision Spring, in the Trigger ( a Crisp 1 to 1.5 pounds is, easily Doable ) and Shoot TINY Group's With,.. the "Right Bullet".
I send my T-3 Lites Out to, PVA for, a Back Country Brake and Threading, 1/2" X 28 ( About,. $300 Plus, Shipping )
Sadly, Tikka doesn't Make,.. Everything that, We,.. want !
I'd Buy, a 24", 7 SAUM with a 1-8.5 Twist,.. in, a New York Minute, if,.. available !
It's,. NOT,.. a "Perfect, World" with Tikka,.. Cartridge / Twist, availability
