Tikka proof prefits have had headspace issues in a few cases noted on some other forums. Shaen rifles in California will take a 6.5 creedmoor superlite and open the bolt face and Rechamber it to 6.5prc for around 385$. He'll cut the barrel to 22" and thread a 9/16x24 brake for a lil more. Get a wildcat composites stock that's 10oz lighter than the factory stock, you'll have a 5.5# Tikka 6.5prc for about 1600$ total. A proof prefit plus Mesa or ag stock is almost 1500$ alone, plus your donor rifle costs. For just 500$(Rechamber, open boltface) you'll have a 6# Tikka 6.5prc. Just a suggestion. I have a superlite I've been wanting t
o send in, but it shoots really well in the factory creed chamber.
