Let me know what ever info you come up along the way I'm in the process of gathering the parts for a 338wsm as well. I am going to have mine built off of a browning A-bolt SS SA, 25inch Schneider SS 10 twist polygon rifling bbl, APS Pk brake (small or slim), tubb oversized recoil lug and A Boyds pepper laminate stock.
