Hi team,
I'm looking for opinions on thermal. Thermion are coming out soon, some models have a 12micron sensor, some 17micron. Some are 640 others are 320 or 384. I'm looking for comparisons for those who have used pulsars and ATNs, how you found them feature wise, and how you found the zoom/ distance viewing etc. I'll need to shoot out to about 300 yards max. I reckon I can do it with a thermion xp38 640. Any tips, info or advice would be good.

I want a low base power, but am wondering if the base model of the thermion which is a 12 micron 320 sensor, with a base mag of 3.3x would actually be better (and cheaper) than a 17micron 640x480 sensor with a base mag of 1.5. Anyone? Help! I can't afford to get this wrong!

I have no experience with the atn, and have only read a little about the thermion. I have a pulsar trail xp38, and it's the bees knees. I also have a Helion xp50 monocular and I like it as well. Pm me if you have any specific questions.
