I got stuck on the 260ai 12-15 years ago, my only wish is there had been a medium length receiver instead of the SA I used. I would like to neck it down to 257 and see how that does.

Yes, I agree. That is why my 7–08 AI is on a medium action origin.

I was looking into doing a 6.5-7PRC mainly for the 156 Berger, how did this one perform for you? I also was looking into a 25-6PRC, so I am curious to see what you do for this year in the quarter bore.
Dang I'm late to the Party again ! I got excited when I seen the last one ..I was on my knees praying it was a 6.5 x 300 Rum !
I would of been on the phone looking for that Reamer ! Lol
Not sure why but I want one ? Possibly because i have a barrel the action countless pieces of Rum brass and a pile of 156 gr bergers ! Hmmm ???

Yes, THE MAX. I like all of my 3 of my SS cartridges for the lighter bullets and the MEGAs for the heavier bullets. I will keep playing with it and find a good place for the max.You realize what's right between the excellent 6.5SS and fantastic 6.5 Mega I'm betting…..

Yes, the 150s do well but they do better in my 6.5 mega. They are a little bit more accurate and lower SD's.

A buddy of mine has a lathe and as we go through these, he is teaching me. But for the ones that I put a lot of effort and time into I have one of my three Smiths to do, especially if I plan on keeping it . Alamo Precision rifles, short action Customs, and TS Customs All do great work and are flexible.

Yes, I already have a 25/6.5 PRC built. I'm also going to do a 25 MEGA. Phil R. lent me the 25 SS and 25 max Reamers. So if I decide, I want to keep one or both of those I'll get my own reamer.
I've only 1, but couldn't be more impressed.
6.5 Max with a 144LRHT at 3299mv with n570. Stopped adding powder at 3342, without pressure signs…from a 28"
