Mike, given the word tactical I was kinda surprised to see what looks like regular casual clothing versus camo etc. Just curious is that a helmet or helmet liner or am I just seeing something else? Good pics, thanks.

Friday, was just a quick check-in day. If you're referring of me in prone I'm wearing a CST baseball cap backwards...

Here are a few pics from today...

Mike

What cal was the 1st place shooter using?

I have never been to one of these things. Just wondering what the majority of guys shoot.

Do they have a LR hunting shoot anywhere? Kind of a thing with steel critters and only get one shot deal? I think that would be neet.

jon

most guys are shooting .260rem at the Noc Cal club. The 6.5cal, in one cartridge or another is definitely the most popular, 6.5creedmore, 6.5x47lapua, 6.5x284, 260, etc.

I'll be shooting my newman precision .260 at next month's match. This will be my first match so I'm just hoping not to be last place....

I'm not sure what Cal Ryan was shooting but it was something like a 243 or 260. I shot a 260 in the TBRC and it was the first time I have ever used it in a match I tend to shoot 308. I will say most of the top shooter were shooting 6.5 cartridges.

We shoot steel animals out to 550yds on some of the matches.

Mike @ CST

Mike, good viceo thanks for sharing. I noticed 2 guys per bench, is their some sort of teaming going on or it just worked out that way that there happens to be 2 per bench+plus all I'm seeing are individual scores so I'm guessing no teaming...Correct?
