No, it wouldn't be legal for any dangerous game in most of Africa. It takes a .375 bore or larger to be legal.

Thanks for the reply WR. I was referring to the cartridge's capabilities not necessarily the rules and regs of other countries. The 33 Nosler can produce up to 4500lbs of energy I'd be more concerned about bullet type and costruction when hunting anything really big. I prefer something in .416 and availability of solids when I've traveled over the Atlantic.

Thanks for the information. I have a lone peak fuzion ti LA with a magnum face coming in. I was originally going to do a 26, then a 28 nosler. Just want something I can build lightish and shoot elk size game at a distance if need be.
This might do it.
