In my .300 Win Mag Ruger M77 MkII Stainless. I measured the group two ways. One, I measured outside to outside as it laid, and subtracted the bore diameter. On the 2nd measurement, I pushed the paper pedals back from the backside, measured OS to OS again, and subtracted the bore.

I'm sure I did something wrong that the old fellers will point out, but I'm happy.

You measured the way I measure my groups. That is the way they measured when I shot benchrest. Of course they had a few other tools to help them out but same basic measuring. Nice group too.

Thanks, the bullets definitely shot very smooth, and that tells me, they will be my hunting rounds this year. The 180 TTSX did fantastic .

Nice!!! Shot my best group ever with the 180 Gr TTSX in my M77 MK2. Mine is 35 caliber (358 Hoosier) 100 yards, 3 shots, one hole. 0.08" .... not trying to one up ya just same rifle same bullet same weight. Your probably running ~3000+FPS? I'm at 2400 FPS.

Thanks man!! The projectile in the hole is what really puts it in perspective. I had just trimmed my brass and I had just gotten the Sinclair bullet seating depth tool and used it to find my lands. Went out to test my handloads and BAM!!! Money. It's not the fastest I can go but who can argue with that accuracy lol

Yeah, I don't know if I'd tamper with the speed. Mine is loaded to 3010 fps. I'm looking forward to trying it.

Right on. I figured you were about there speed wise. I'm getting gear and clothes etc ready myself. This weekend is the opener for gun in the great state of Indiana. Best of luck to ya!!!

I love Ruger rifles!! And Barnes ain't half bad either lol. My rig weighs 8 lbs even. 4-12 x 40 leupold vx-1. It has an aftermarket trigger and the barrel is a Shilen. I'll say this about Ruger barrels they shoot ya just gotta find what ammo they like. The only reason my gun isn't a 308 anymore is Indiana's kooky hunting regs so I rebarreled to the 358. The Hoosier....

Great looking rifle. I bet you're checking out the .350 Legend now. Too bad they have that length restriction, I know I'd go with a .458 Lott lol
