I have two boxes of 175 grain terminal ascents and I'm thinking about trying them in a 30 nosler.
Is there anybody that has loaded these and what seating depth should a guy look at just so I don't have to waste so many bullets hunting for a seating depth.
I was going to treat them like a Barnes and start at 0.050" since they look similar to a Barnes unless somebody has some other suggestions.

Perhaps a call to the manufacturer would be best? Sorry, lame answer, but probably the best.

I shot factory loaded 30-06 with the 175 TA. In my rifle they are .0870 off the lands. In three different outings they shot 3/4" or a little better. MV was 2740, finding this bullet has been impossible. Will be interesting to see how they perform when pushed harder.

Finally got my 30 nosler from gun smith.

0.050 " off worked out great once I got the speed up.
I will see if it repeats and call it good.
I only had 100 bullets so don't want to shoot anymore than I have to.
Or do I go hotter? 🤔haha
3145 fps now.
