Got a buddy of mine that has hunted on a track like that in south Arkansas since we were kids. I sat on it once, seen plenty of deer. The problem is they don't seem to like walking down it, just crossing it. This gives you a very short time to get a shot off. Let alone range, judge wind, adjust, etc.
Do you find this is the case where you hunt?
I have to admit if that's the only LR spot, I would be on it as well! I would have their main trails mapped out and preranged with drops at the ready.
