Tac 15 Blew Up. Please help?

Great work on the heads! What a terrible mess on the limbs.
Thanks man I really hope if I can't find some for less than a couple hundred bucks (doubtful), I can at least start over with one of the 3-4 Elite models I'm currently trying to decide between in the 3-400 range.
(Edit) Actually just found out these other ones are still the first series Tacs, only with integral lowers and different scopes. Look like Hawke 3-9x50 maybe with illuminated reticle and paralax adjustable. Mine has a Parker Red Hot on it, I think 4x32. Wondering how these longer ones actually do. I do like the Mil dot reticles.

Didn't PSE supposedly apply some kind of upgrade or fix on the gen 2"s, after all the limbs breaking issues I'm only just now hearing about on the uppers they made first?

Nice knapping job. Back in the day we said pse stood for pull shoot explode.
Thank you. I'm trying my best to remain faithful and buy my way out of what turned into a money pit. Uggh way too much invested now to just throw it all away unfortunately.

Well after a long year since stretching a string on opening day last season, I've replaced the string and cables, tuned it back right again, bought and had to rebuild (spine tested, numbered, and re-fletched my 24 arrows, and had it all sighted in punching out bullseyes at 50 - 70 yards.

Was in my ground blind with it for the first time a few days ago, had a group of deer walking in about to cross my lane around 30 yds. Took safety off and was finally ready to launch one of my first knapped stone points, which I carefully made to matched 100 Gr weights with my broadheads, and hafted to custom made aluminum inserts by a buddy of mine. Just as I was about to fire...suddenly out of nowhere, both my limbs split on the left side, and one snapped clean off!
Needless to say, I was busted (in my new blind), and completely shocked and disgusted. Especially after the local PSE service shop's bow tech, called PSE direct and was told no limbs were available anymore?? After all the time, money, blood sweat & tears, going on two years now...my favorite bow is a paperweight.

Does anyone know anyone, or happen to actually have a spare set of limbs I could buy? Ugggh.

I used to bow hunt... a LOT. But haven't in years. I'm just curious and probably wrong. But did you experience a big temp change like, getting out of a warm truck into a very cold environment or something like that? I've never seen a bow experience a limb failure like this. I also want to say WOW how cool are those arrows & broadheads!!!! Awesome job!!! I hope someone can help with the limbs!

Thanks man I can't wait to sling em!
No weather's been mild and consistent. Went out in the morning actually, and let a few walk. Broke for lunch mid day and walked back out there. Same weather through the evening. Just crazy.
Have one friend says he doesn't think these new hi speed Xbows can take a lot of practice shooting all the time and I should've sighted in and put it up. Just doesn't jive with all I've read here though from the guys doing lots of testing. After all the work I had to do to my arrows, I've shot it a lot. It should be able to take that!

There have been a few cases reported on PSE TAC 15 limb failures. I would start with a call to PSE.
Yep had my bow tech guy at local shop call them for me. Got nowhere... Tried calling them myself and they are not answering phones. Blaming covid...like everyone else these days...blaa blaa...

I'm furious about it, I know **** well they have access to limbs somewhere.

Checked ebay for the heck of it and it looks like you bought it?
Nope wasn't me. They must have sold it after I messaged them an offer. Feel bad for someone unless they only wanted it for parts. Was missing the cocking sled and it doesn't look like PSE is helping anyone out needing parts replacements now. Sad.

I agree! The bow should be able to withstand consistent shooting and temp variations.
