Anybody have time behind these or I guess the 10x42 TA RF. I been running the 12x42 NL but really miss RF binos and got the new Sig 10k gen 2 and the range is very nice but seems like it's hard to get used to other glass after NL. How good is the ballistic read out and how far will it range to? Thanks.

I recently got the 8x32 version. I also love ny 12x nl pure and did not want to sacrifice optics too much going with RF binos. I am very pleased so far but need a hunting season with them to really see.

To answer your question the ballistic readout has been within .1 mil of my gold standard apps with first round hits to 1000 yards.

Mine will hit 1400-1500 yards so far depending on what you're trying to range and the atmospheric conditions. Easier/better off a tripod.

I've had the 10x42 ta's for about a year and really like them. I've never looked through the nl's so I can't compare them. The rangefinder isn't as strong as most of the other rf binoculars but one benefit of that is they seem to range better in rain, snow and fog. They also give whatever solution you want at the same time as the range. So I have mine set to give me Moa adjustment and it comes up instantly under the range and it's super fast like 1 second of hitting the button. They give you data as far as they can range which is really nice. Furthest range I've seen is 2100ish most of the time is under 1800. They also don't give you anything for wind.

I've had most of the top rf binoculars. Original el range, Zeiss, Revic, Leica 3200 and geovid pro. I still have the geovid pro's and was comparing them to the el ta's today. I prefer the feel and glass of the Swarovski. There's nothing wrong with the Leica at all but I guess I'm just a swaro fan.

I hunt coyotes a lot in the winter and spring and I've found that I get way more shots using the el's because how fast I get a Moa to dial. I spot and stalk mainly so I'm shooting far most of the time and coyotes only stop moving for a couple seconds. So when I'm using Leica you have to hit the button once to turn them on again to range and you will get the yardage about 2 seconds later then in another 2 seconds you get the Moa to adjust. It just takes to much time when you have to range your own shots on an animal that is a small target and always on the move.

I have the 10x42 TA and recently bought the Leica Geovid Pro AB+. They are very similar on the optic side - both very good quality, lacking nothing IMO.

On the app side, the clear advantage goes to Leica. First off, the Swaro app only allows 3 rifle profiles which is a pain. I have not hit the limit yet in the Leicas but have loaded 5 profiles so far. I did not like having to delete profiles to add additional profiles. There are also many more inputs with the AB ballistics - can add in offset, zero conditions, etc.

I have not kept track or compared side by side, but I get more consistent readings from the Leica as far as what I am aiming at with the laser. I am not sure how the lasers actually compare, but I feel like I get fewer readings around the target and more on the target from the Leicas.

I will be selling the Swaros and keeping the Leicas.
