I hope so, but they didn't do it last time.
Hate to say it, but things got better the last few years. I bought one when Trump was pres., it took 13 months. I bought 2 this year, about 13 days each.

The guy that invents stuff gets to name it:
Hiram Percy Maxim, the son of Maxim gun inventor Hiram Stevens Maxim, invented and sold the first commercially successful silencer around 1902. Maxim's device was called the "Maxim Silencer"
