Hey everyone!
I'm selling my lightly used suppressors. Some are new/unfired, will be noted below.
All of these are great performers, simply no longer needed/wanted.
I'm in Daytona Beach, FL.
NOTES:
- If you haven't gone through the NFA process, it's easy (for me at least ), just time consuming.
As long as you can pass a background check, your ATF Form4 will be approved.
- All of these are on Form4's, and will transfer as such.
- I have owned A LOT of NFA items over the last 9 years once I turned 21.
As of the last 4 years, my personal Form4 wait times have been no longer than 5 months... and the ones I've sold in the last couple years have been 4-9 months to fellow FL residents/friends.
- If you don't have a Trust set up, and we meet up (you being a FL resident), I would suggest you submit as an individual (notable faster wait times I've seen over the years with various people).
- ATF eForm4's don't apply to me, since the transferor has to be an FFL.
- If you're out of state, your FFL/SOT will need to submit an initial Form4 (additional $200) to have the suppressor(s) transfer from myself to them ..... THIS IS NOT A FORM3, I've had multiple FFL/SOT's who don't know what they're talking about, insist I submit a Form3 (that is only between FFL/SOTs, including Dealers & Manufacturers).
- Either if you're a FL resident, or not, when purchasing one of these, we will swap phone numbers, so I can keep you updated on the process, give instructions, and answer questions.
If you're a Florida Resident:
- I will gather basic information from you, to pre-fill the majority of the Form4 sections, Firearm Bill of Sales copies, etc.
- Depending if you submit as a Trust or an Individual, you'll need to obtain the needed quantity of Finger Print Cards and Passport photos (can easily be taken at your local Sheriff's/PD Office) prior to the 1st Meet Up.
- 1st Meet Up: exchange $$, you finish signing the Form4's, I will provide a filled out USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope for you to mail off at your local Post Office.
- Your check will be cashed within a week of it arriving at the ATF location, or Credit Card can be filled out in the Form4 instead.
- About 2 months after your payment is processed, I would suggest you call the ATF once a month on the serial number(s), to know ahead of time for approval.
- We Wait........
- As the transferor, I will receive the approved Form4(s) in the mail, I will text you immediately to arrange the 2nd Meet Up.
- 2nd Meet Up: you take possession of your suppressor(s) and Form4(s)... have fun shooting!
If you're NOT a Florida Resident:
- If one of these suppressors really tickles your fancy, you can purchase one to start the below additional process.
- After payment is sent to me, you will need your preferred in-your-state FFL/SOT to send me their info (not just their FFL info, their Special Occupational Tax as well)
- I will fill out and sign with Live Ink (a pen) the Form4's and mail them to your FFL/SOT
- Your FFL/SOT, being the transferee, will need to sign their sections with Live Ink (a pen) ... I will have highlighter tabs on the sections ... and they will need to include payment for the initial $200 transfer.
- Your FFL/SOT will then mail the finished Form4's to the ATF location.
- As the transferor, I will receive the approved Form4(s) in the mail.
- I will ship the suppressor(s) and approved Form4(s) to your FFL/SOT.
- You will then need to submit your own Form4(s) with your FFL/SOT ... I am out of the picture at that point.
Don't hesitate to shoot me a PM / ask a question!
