Is it a Rem700 footprint? I have a chassis for a SA R700. I also have the applicable magazine……I'm sorry but chassis builds aren't my strong suit……would it literally drop right in and only require the action screws to be tightened?

Bingo! It's literally that easy. This should fit in any r700 SA chassis.

I just grabbed the current chassis and stuck it in bc I liked the look. But I had a different one before and it dropped in and was ready after I tightened action screws.

Sweet…..I'm gonna be adding a couple of different items to my arsenal by the end of the year. Finding a barreled action for this chassis (that I've had for 5 yrs) is high on the list. If U still have it come mid Dec, we can talk. Good luck otherwise.
