Looking for everyone's input on what binoculars to purchase next. My son unfortunately broke my old set. They were Cabelas Intensity 10x50 HDs. I would like to stay with 10x50s. They also need to fit in a Marsupial, Small, Enclosed Chest Pack. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Used Meopta binos? Maybe something like this

What type of hunting do you do, stand or stalk. My eyes got old and my Nikon Travelites at 8x25 weren't doing the job any more. I went to an outdoor show in Harrisburg PA where I could compare lots of bino brands side by side, I settled on Vortex Crossfire HD 12x50 for $169. They also make the 10x50. They were as clear as any they had. A little big but I needed to be able to count points at 350yds and these fit the bill. I've used them 2 years without problems and are perfect for what I need them to do especially in early morning light and dusk in the evening. Also note that my knees don't allow me to walk around too much anymore. They came with a quick access chest pack and front and rear lens covers. They hold focus and worked well in 20F wet conditions. When you start getting up in power the footprint of the binocular increases. If you have a place where you can go to handle them you should do it.

Buy the Athlon Cronus 10x42 UHD for $400 from CameralandNY. Superb binoculars for $400. See reviews below for excellent information. I ordered a set of these for my Truck and SxS Binos. Very impressed.
