Suggestion on Wyoming Mule deer hunt

I know this is longrangehunting but if you're an archery hunter there are some good deer hunts with a lot less traffic and typically better weather. I believe WY allows crossbows too which is kind of the long range version of archery!

They are not changing the percentage for antelope or deer, or elk. Yet.
Yet being the key word. A few of us are in the same boat as a bunch of posters here with a handful of points and the creep about to hit. Hoping to draw and move on for sure. Man, how things have changed since I first started going out of state many years ago. I can remember one year a long time ago that my plans changed last minute and I quickly called Idaho F&G to see if there were any deer tags left and the lady laughed and said "Thousands". Now, I feel like I have to be an IT whiz and have the atomic world clock glowing in my face to be able to obtain a deer or elk tag there. Hopefully we get Wyoming this year.

This. I feel like I need to be some type of savant gambler at the casino counting cards while monitoring multiple "how to get a tag" sites simultaneously. I am going to Africa instead.

I remember those days, leave home arrive in Idaho and buy your license and tags over the counter. They even tried to sell you a second Elk and deer tag.
