I know what you mean, I know Murphy very well, and he's a *****. Having the bolt out of the rifle only gives him a guarantee that it will disappear at some point.

It is "my understanding" that to measure for LOP you go from elbow crease to first joint on fore finger. At 15.75" Has anyone been able to find a off the shelf, aftermarket stock with that kind of length?
The best/ closest is a Choate Sniper, that's adjustable to about 14.50 without stacking recoil pads. It's going on a Remington 700 in Cal .308.
