I don't know how to exactly grade wood, so I'll let you decide what grade this actually is. It was the finest piece of furniture I'd ever seen for a gun. I believe it may be a Remington Custom Shop piece. It looks like it has the Remington logo on the hard butt plate. LOP appears to be 14". That's to the center of the trigger cutout. It's hard to be precise without a trigger in place. There is not a mark on it, and I was told it has never been mounted to a barreled action, although I did drop one in place, along with bottom metal to insure fit up. Everything is 100% drop-in ready. Trigger pull scale says 33 ounces. Feels very light to me. Losing money at $300, so that's as low as I can go, but I can offer free UPS shipping ground to lower 48 insured. Not pictured, I removes the paper tape from the front of the bottom metal cutout and found a purple circle a little smaller than a dime with the number "1" inside. I am assuming this means a factory "first", as opposed to a 2nd, which has a blemish somewhere. I was going to have Hart make and install a barrel duplicating the factory #3 contour, as I didn't want to sand ANYTHING off this thing around the recoil lug to accommodate a 1.20" barrel shank. I never got to follow through. I accept PayPal friends and family or you can mail a Postal money order. Contact me for contact/payment info after you speak for it. I won't send an invoice, just use my email and send payment there for PayPal. Thanks for looking!
