Strange set of scope mounts !

Bought Stith mounts off Ebay, box says M70 no drill ---- nope, offest to left for flat side receiver. Prowling the internet showed they are for a 94 Winchester w/Lyman Alaskan.

Now do I sell them or buy a 94 ?

Guess I'll keep them. Keep your eyes peeled for a good shooter grade Winchester 65 rifle.

Finally found a pic of the lever gun offset one mounted on a 71 w/a custom stock to handle offset. Mount was made for Lyman Alaskan but this is not one.

Just bought 2 more NIB for Remingtons: M141 and M81. Also for Alaskans.

That reminds me of the scope you see on the M1D sniper rifles.

The M82 looked just like an Alaskan and the M84 had different turrets.

Looks Euro to me (22mm same as 7/8")
